Last Updated: September 2026

1. Organizational Identity and Charitable Purpose

WisdomPhilanthropy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing charitable assistance, supporting community development, and improving the lives of individuals and families through practical, compassionate action.

WisdomPhilanthropy operates through legally established charitable entities in the United States and Jamaica. Its U.S. organization is recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and its Jamaican organization is registered under the applicable charitable framework in Jamaica.

Each legal entity maintains its own obligations, financial responsibilities, governance requirements, and regulatory compliance.

Our guiding principle, “Within our abilities, HELP Everyone,” expresses our commitment to service. It does not constitute a guarantee that assistance will be provided to every individual, organization, or community requesting support.

All charitable activities are subject to applicable laws, organizational policies, available resources, and the decisions of authorized leadership.

2. Charitable Assistance and Eligibility

WisdomPhilanthropy reserves the right to evaluate, approve, decline, prioritize, modify, suspend, or discontinue requests for charitable assistance.

Assistance may be determined by factors including:

Submitting an application, contacting the organization, participating in a program, or receiving assistance previously does not establish an entitlement to future assistance.

All decisions will be made in good faith, consistent with applicable law, charitable purposes, and relevant organizational policies. WisdomPhilanthropy does not unlawfully discriminate in the administration of its charitable programs.

3. Allocation and Stewardship of Resources

WisdomPhilanthropy is committed to responsible stewardship of the resources entrusted to it.

Resources may include monetary donations, earned revenue, grants, sponsorships, donated goods, equipment, volunteer services, and other forms of support.

Subject to applicable legal requirements and binding donor restrictions, resources may be allocated toward:

WisdomPhilanthropy does not represent that every donated dollar will be spent exclusively on direct beneficiary assistance unless such a commitment is expressly made for a particular campaign.

Reasonable operational and administrative expenditures are necessary to deliver charitable services responsibly and sustainably.

4. Our Earned Revenue Model

WisdomPhilanthropy pursues a sustainable funding approach that incorporates revenue generated through mission-aligned business activities and ownership interests.

A significant portion of net revenue from participating businesses may support charitable initiatives, subject to applicable agreements, operating requirements, and financial availability.

Business-generated funds become available for charitable purposes only when properly allocated or transferred to the relevant charitable entity.

Business operations and charitable activities are subject to their respective legal, financial, and regulatory requirements.

WisdomPhilanthropy does not guarantee any particular level of future business revenue or charitable funding.

5. Public Donations and Contributions

Voluntary public contributions are accepted to advance WisdomPhilanthropy's charitable mission.

Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing or legally restricted, donations are treated as unrestricted charitable contributions and may be applied to organizational needs and charitable activities consistent with our mission.

WisdomPhilanthropy retains discretion and control over the allocation of unrestricted contributions.

Donors do not acquire ownership interests, management authority, voting rights, or control over charitable operations by making a contribution.

Donations do not entitle contributors to direct assistance toward a particular individual, vendor, organization, or beneficiary.

All contributions remain subject to applicable laws and financial accountability requirements.

6. Donations Designated for Specific Projects

WisdomPhilanthropy may offer donors the opportunity to support specific projects, programs, or fundraising campaigns.

Where a donation is expressly accepted subject to a legally binding restriction, WisdomPhilanthropy will administer the contribution in accordance with that restriction and applicable law.

A donor's preference or informal designation does not automatically create a binding restriction unless accepted by WisdomPhilanthropy.

If a project is completed, canceled, delayed, oversubscribed, or becomes impracticable, the treatment of remaining restricted funds will depend on the applicable donor agreement and law. Any required donor consent, regulatory approval, or other legal authorization will be obtained before restricted funds are redirected.

Where donations are expressly accepted as unrestricted, WisdomPhilanthropy may apply them to other eligible charitable needs.

7. Projects Fully Funded by WisdomPhilanthropy

Projects financed entirely through WisdomPhilanthropy's own unrestricted resources are ordinarily planned, administered, supervised, and managed by WisdomPhilanthropy or its authorized representatives.

WisdomPhilanthropy retains responsibility for determining:

External participation does not automatically confer project ownership, management authority, or decision-making rights.

WisdomPhilanthropy may engage qualified partners, contractors, volunteers, or community organizations to assist with implementation while maintaining appropriate organizational oversight.

8. Jointly Funded and Partner-Supported Projects

WisdomPhilanthropy may collaborate with businesses, nonprofits, public institutions, donors, and community groups.

The roles, financial responsibilities, deliverables, reporting obligations, and decision-making authority of each participant may be established through written agreements.

Participation in a collaborative project does not automatically create a legal partnership, joint venture, agency relationship, or authority to represent WisdomPhilanthropy.

WisdomPhilanthropy reserves the right to decline or discontinue partnerships that present legal, ethical, reputational, financial, or operational concerns, subject to applicable contractual obligations.

9. Project Planning, Execution, and Oversight

WisdomPhilanthropy generally approaches charitable projects through a structured process involving identification of needs, assessment, approval, resource allocation, implementation, and review.

Depending on the nature of the project, this process may include community consultation, eligibility verification, budgeting, procurement, volunteer coordination, distribution controls, documentation, and post-project evaluation.

Project execution may be adjusted in response to funding availability, weather, public safety, local conditions, supplier limitations, regulatory requirements, or unforeseen circumstances.

Published project descriptions, proposed schedules, and anticipated outcomes are informational unless expressly established as binding commitments.

10. Project Changes, Delays, and Cancellations

WisdomPhilanthropy reserves the right to modify, postpone, suspend, or cancel projects when reasonably necessary.

Circumstances may include inadequate funding, operational challenges, safety concerns, legal restrictions, emergencies, or changes in community needs.

Any funds subject to binding restrictions will continue to be handled in accordance with those restrictions and applicable law.

WisdomPhilanthropy will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes to directly affected parties when appropriate.

11. Financial Management and Accountability

WisdomPhilanthropy is committed to maintaining appropriate financial records, internal controls, and oversight procedures.

Charitable resources will be managed in accordance with applicable laws, organizational governing documents, and approved financial policies.

Expenditures may be subject to authorization, supporting documentation, reconciliation, and review.

Financial information and organizational records may be disclosed to regulators, auditors, donors, or the public where required by law or organizational policy.

WisdomPhilanthropy is not obligated to disclose confidential beneficiary information, privileged records, commercially sensitive information, or protected personal data except where legally required.

12. Administrative and Operational Expenses

Charitable operations require administrative support.

WisdomPhilanthropy may use legally available funds to cover reasonable and properly authorized expenses necessary to operate its programs and maintain compliance.

These expenses may include staffing, insurance, technology, communications, transportation, professional services, facility expenses, and other legitimate operating costs.

Unless specifically stated and supportable, WisdomPhilanthropy makes no representation that donations are free of administrative or processing costs.

13. Donations, Refunds, and Payment Processing

Donations are generally intended to be final once successfully processed.

Refund requests may be considered in circumstances involving duplicate transactions, processing errors, unauthorized payments, or other exceptional situations.

Refunds remain subject to applicable law, payment processor requirements, donor restrictions, and organizational review.

WisdomPhilanthropy reserves the right to decline, return, or investigate contributions that may be unlawful, fraudulent, improperly conditioned, or inconsistent with its charitable purposes.

Electronic donations may be processed through authorized third-party payment providers. Applicable processing fees and provider terms may apply.

14. Tax-Exempt Status and Tax Deductibility

WisdomPhilanthropy's U.S. charitable entity is recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Eligible contributions made to that entity may be tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by U.S. law.

WisdomPhilanthropy also maintains a registered charitable presence in Jamaica. Registration in Jamaica does not, by itself, establish that a contribution qualifies for a tax deduction in the United States or any other jurisdiction.

Tax treatment depends on the receiving legal entity, the donor's circumstances, applicable law, and whether goods or services were provided in exchange.

WisdomPhilanthropy will provide appropriate donation acknowledgments and disclosures in accordance with applicable requirements.

Donors are encouraged to seek independent tax advice.

15. In-Kind Contributions and Donated Property

WisdomPhilanthropy may accept donated goods, supplies, equipment, property, or services at its discretion.

Acceptance may depend on suitability, condition, safety, storage capacity, transportation requirements, and charitable usefulness.

Unless a binding written agreement provides otherwise, accepted property may be distributed, utilized, transferred, sold, or otherwise managed in furtherance of lawful charitable purposes.

WisdomPhilanthropy may decline donations that are unsafe, unsuitable, excessively costly to manage, or inconsistent with its mission.

Donors are responsible for obtaining independent valuations where required for tax purposes.

16. Beneficiary Verification and Accuracy of Information

Individuals or organizations requesting assistance may be asked to provide information necessary to evaluate eligibility, need, and program suitability.

Applicants are expected to provide accurate and truthful information.

WisdomPhilanthropy may verify submitted information through lawful and proportionate means.

Material misrepresentation, fraud, abuse, or misuse of assistance may result in denial, suspension, or termination of support and, where appropriate, referral to relevant authorities.

Any recovery of improperly obtained resources will be pursued only where lawful and appropriate.

17. No Guarantee of Assistance or Outcomes

WisdomPhilanthropy makes reasonable efforts to deliver meaningful charitable support but does not guarantee that assistance will be available, approved, delivered within a particular timeframe, or produce a specific outcome.

Assistance is dependent on available resources, eligibility, operational capacity, and other relevant considerations.

Descriptions of anticipated impact, project objectives, or community benefits should not be interpreted as guarantees of individual or collective results.

Nothing in this policy excludes any duty or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Volunteers and Community Participation

Volunteer participation is subject to organizational approval, eligibility requirements, project availability, and applicable safeguarding procedures.

WisdomPhilanthropy may establish participation standards, safety requirements, codes of conduct, and operational instructions.

The organization may refuse or discontinue volunteer participation for legitimate safety, conduct, operational, or compliance reasons.

Volunteers must not represent themselves as authorized agents or spokespersons of WisdomPhilanthropy without permission.

Additional volunteer agreements, consent forms, or safeguarding requirements may apply.

19. Protection of Children and Vulnerable Individuals

WisdomPhilanthropy recognizes the importance of safeguarding children, older adults, and other vulnerable individuals who may participate in or benefit from its activities.

Projects involving vulnerable populations may require additional screening, supervision, consent, confidentiality, and safeguarding measures.

The organization reserves the right to restrict participation, access, photography, or contact where reasonably necessary to protect participants.

Any suspected abuse, exploitation, or serious misconduct will be addressed in accordance with applicable safeguarding policies and legal reporting obligations.

20. Photography, Media, and Public Communications

WisdomPhilanthropy may document its charitable activities through photographs, videos, written reports, and other communications.

Use of identifiable images, personal stories, or beneficiary information is subject to applicable privacy laws, consent requirements, and safeguarding considerations.

Participation in a charitable project does not automatically grant unrestricted permission to publish an individual's image or personal information.

WisdomPhilanthropy may edit, remove, or decline publication of material where necessary to protect privacy, dignity, safety, or organizational integrity.

21. Conflicts of Interest and Ethical Conduct

WisdomPhilanthropy seeks to conduct its activities with integrity and accountability.

Transactions involving directors, officers, employees, affiliated businesses, or other related parties must comply with applicable laws and organizational conflict-of-interest requirements.

Organizational resources must not be used for unauthorized private benefit or improper personal enrichment.

Where permitted, related-party transactions must be appropriately reviewed, documented, and approved.

22. Independence and Organizational Decision-Making

WisdomPhilanthropy maintains independent governance over its charitable affairs.

Donors, sponsors, partners, volunteers, and beneficiaries do not acquire governance authority through their involvement unless expressly established under applicable governing documents or legally binding agreements.

The organization may reject requests, conditions, or arrangements that conflict with its mission, independence, legal obligations, or charitable purposes.

23. Geographic Operations and Cross-Border Activities

WisdomPhilanthropy supports charitable objectives involving communities in the United States and Jamaica.

Programs in each jurisdiction are subject to applicable local laws, registration requirements, organizational approvals, and operational readiness.

Charitable registration in a jurisdiction does not guarantee that programs are currently active there.

Transfers of funds, equipment, or other resources between jurisdictions or legal entities must comply with applicable laws, financial controls, and organizational authorization procedures.

Funds belonging to one legal entity are not automatically available for unrestricted use by another.

24. Third-Party Organizations, Contractors, and Service Providers

WisdomPhilanthropy may engage external service providers to support charitable operations.

Such relationships may include transportation providers, suppliers, technology vendors, professional advisers, contractors, and implementation partners.

Unless expressly stated, WisdomPhilanthropy does not control or endorse all activities, statements, or services of independent third parties.

The organization will exercise appropriate oversight of third parties engaged to carry out charitable activities on its behalf.

25. Website Content and Public Information

Information published on WisdomPhilanthropy's website is intended to inform the public about its mission, programs, activities, and opportunities for involvement.

The organization endeavors to maintain accurate information but may update, correct, or remove content when appropriate.

Historical descriptions may reflect activities completed in prior periods and should not be interpreted as statements that the same programs remain active.

Website content does not constitute a binding offer of assistance, funding, employment, volunteer placement, or partnership.

26. Intellectual Property and Organizational Materials

Unless otherwise indicated, WisdomPhilanthropy's name, logos, website content, original publications, graphics, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to the organization.

Unauthorized commercial use, impersonation, misleading association, or misrepresentation of affiliation is prohibited.

Permission may be requested for appropriate use of organizational materials.

Nothing in this section limits rights or uses permitted by applicable law.

27. Privacy and Personal Information

WisdomPhilanthropy may collect personal information in connection with donations, volunteer registrations, assistance requests, communications, and charitable activities.

Such information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the organization's published Privacy Policy.

Information may be shared with authorized service providers or competent authorities where appropriate and legally permitted or required.

Submission of personal information does not guarantee acceptance into any charitable program.

28. Fraud Prevention and Unauthorized Fundraising

Only individuals or entities expressly authorized by WisdomPhilanthropy may solicit donations or represent fundraising activities on its behalf.

WisdomPhilanthropy is not responsible for unauthorized fundraising conducted by third parties falsely claiming affiliation with the organization, except to the extent responsibility is imposed by law.

Suspected fraudulent activity, impersonation, or misuse of the organization's name should be reported through its official contact channels.

29. Complaints, Concerns, and Requests for Review

Individuals may contact WisdomPhilanthropy regarding concerns about charitable operations, donation handling, conduct, or published information.

The organization may review complaints and take action as appropriate based on the nature of the concern, available evidence, applicable law, and internal procedures.

Submission of a complaint does not guarantee a particular outcome.

Nothing in this policy restricts an individual's right to contact a regulator, law enforcement authority, or other competent body.

30. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WisdomPhilanthropy does not guarantee uninterrupted website availability, error-free information, or the successful completion of every proposed charitable activity.

The organization is not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on nonbinding project projections or general informational website content, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence where non-excludable, statutory obligations, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

31. Policy Amendments

WisdomPhilanthropy may amend this policy from time to time to reflect changes in operations, organizational requirements, or applicable laws.

Updated versions may be published on the organization's official website with a revised effective date.

Amendments do not retroactively override binding donor restrictions, existing contractual rights, or applicable legal obligations.
